I did further conversions of these horses. The anatomy s not correct and the sizes do not match up correctly.

I was looking at this piece and realised that the amount of overcast shadows had to be reduced. So I stuck silvered paper behind the frame to reflect the lights and it looks so much brighter and better.

Here's a comparison of the previous Historex horse and the present 1/35 horse meant for this piece. The new horses look more suitable.

Was at Jeff's house for a BDay celebration. He has rewarded himself with new toys and displays. I managed to take these pix in between the merriment.

Subst the new head for the dowager fig.

I cut up the horses to avoid the same poses.

Hi Steve and Louis, thx. I was examining the Dowager's head and decided that it was too pedestrian. So I resculpted a new head carefully, looking at a photo of the Dowager.

Just doodling here. I took out this piece and decided that the chariot horses should be 1/35 scale to represent smaller horses.

Adding arms to these three figs.

Just drying out the varnish.

And suddenly, its quite well-advanced. Also enjoying my new cabinet lighting.

I changed the frame size and altered the light source to give a warmer look. Also changed the position of the Boer to tighten up the piece as per the ptg. Iam now very satisfied with it. Rgds Victor
