I’m just sharing my experience of buying from S&D several years back. I bought two grand piano sets. There was pitting all over the flat surfaces. I spent a lot of effort with filler and sanding smooth these areas. FYI.

I also made the bkgd for this piece as well. Both NBY and the ACW pieces are the same size.

Hi Steve and Louis, thx again for yr kind comments. Minor touchups inclde adding the bits and rein to this mtd fig and other small details here and there. All done and waiting for the paint to dry before I box it up.

Hi Steve, Thx for yr very kind remarks. I fitted the frame to the piece and tested the lighting. Then added silvered paper at the back to brighten it up. The scene is almost done, barring minor touchups. I am quite satisfied with the results. I know you tk that I'm just repeating the "lucky...

I found the correct depth shadowbox and decided to do up the base for this piece.

I added some grass field to the left and built upo the base on the right. Then added more twigs etc to build up the trees. The scene was further painted in acrylics.
