I will try to find room for a few more Norman figures recently announced, plus some Saxons that i've ordered. I think I have come up with an idea for two Viking ships and figures to compliment the 1066 theme. Greg.
The packed formation of the Saxons especially, made it difficult to get down around the bases. My figures are always fixed in position with a dob of flexible sealant to stop them falling over. With arms and weapons flailing around it's not easy to get between them and apply the grass flock.
I would say you would need a big table Jason. I have about six dioramas that are around 2 metres long but the biggest in area has to sit on it's own table. It's the Punic Wars diorama. The ships and water take a lot of the space. Photo of. Greg.
One could keep buying figures until they had the largest number of Saxons but the problem becomes of how one is going to display them. There will allways be somebody who claims to have more than you but i work on the theory that once I reach saturation point for a diorama size, that is the end...
Great effort in collecting such an impressive display. This series was the most tedious for me in covering the bases but worth it. Looking forward to seeing the Normans combined together. Greg.

This is one of four permanent Roman dioramas that I have done. Two others are TG figures and the other is JJD. In my opinion TG overall are the best Romans but I like different things about other brands. Thanks Steve and others for the comments and likes. Greg.
