You know, those figures are 1/24 and they are pretty nice. Finish quality is not at K&C level but they are good pieces. What I find really compelling are the buildings. At 1/24, they would fit alright with with the 1/28-1/30 scale makers.

I have a younger cousin who was in the peace corps in Senegal. She very much valued her experience. If you can do it then go for it. I wish I had.
