The latest issue of "Britain at War" features a full page ad showing off the new 1939 Polish Cavalry, together with some background info, Evidently the seven figures are to be released in two batches. Hopefully the first batch will feature in next week's Despatches.

Three years ago I started collecting the (then) new WWII range. I'm very impressed with the US and German releases so far but everything seems to have come to a halt. Hopefully over the next few months Britains will start clearing the logjam. Hope this delay is n't part of a deeper malaise with...

Britains have announced that they do not intend to produce any more catalogue supplements. They will be replaced with more regular announcements (e.g. Facebook) shortly before figures are released, as the long period of time between a figure's appearance in the catalogue and its actual release...

Hope the range will be expanded in due course. Would love to see a figure (mounted or standing) of Captain Nathan Brittles, as portrayed by John Wayne in "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon".

The FL Panther look superb. However may I suggest that you delete the divisional insignia on the glacis plate. First, most Panthers did not carry such insignia and second, it would allow collectors to use the model to represent other Heer and Waffen-SS units that saw action during "the "Bulge."

The unpainted cavalry figures at the London show were impressive! Painted they look superb! However, hope the infantry will be wearing the WZ 31 rather than the Adrian helmet.

According to Andy Nielson at the London Toy Soldier Show last Saturday the next vehicle will be an Israeli half-track and later in the year there will be a Centurion! Start saving now!

The first are due early next year, followed by infantry and a MG team - according to Andy Nielson.

I don't know if any members of this forum will be attending this event this evening in London, but if any are it would be a great service to those who cannot attend for them to post their thoughts, comments, photos etc in due course. To those attending - enjoy the meal, have a great time!

Tomorrow's (if there isn't a Chinese holdiday in the way) releases will be the last ones before Christmas. I know December is yet to come but many releases that month may not make it before Christmas - so it will be quite interesting to see what will be available.

I think the phrase "captured from Germany" refers not to the actual guns but to the trade in toy soldiers in general - implying (correctly) that British firms, in particular Britains, had surpassed the German firms making toy soldiers which had a virtual monopoly on the market until Britains...
