    NOR053-064 WWII British Airborne Pre-Order!

These look superb and well worth the wait - all we need is a 1/30 Pegasus Bridge!! Congratulations on getting the Bren gunner position correct (an improvement on the 8th Army figure).

    "on the flight deck"

Perhaps something similar for the Royal Navy some time - Corsair used both in European and Pacific waters.

State of the UK Toy Soldier Market

Although I am very sad that K & C UK have ceased business it is just remembering that K & C in Hong Kong is still going strong. Now, if Andy shut up shop that would be an event of practically apocalypse proportions! Like everyone else I have no idea what prompted K&C UK's decision. Declining...

    new set

I recently bought this set and was very pleased with it. I think Britains are on to a winner with this new very focussed WWII range. Be interesting to see what the schwimwagen is like in the flesh.

    King & Country U.K.

Sad news. I found K&C UK always very friendly and helpful. I hope all goes well from them in the future. There was not a hint of this at the Toy Soldier Show a couple of weeks ago. Will certainly try ordering from Hong Kong and see how that works out in terms of comparative cost and the HMRC!

Rats on the Move - 1942

Reminds me of the 8th Army displays (in 1/32) by BMSS member John Sandars back in the 1970s.

    2016 standard & spring catalogue - out

Nothing that isn't either in the latest catalogue, or was at the London show last December. I asked about the forthcoming WWII schwimwagen but the reps had no idea when that might be available.

Saw some new stuff at London

Also the St. Nazaire commando raid 28 Mar 1942. The initial resistance to the raid was from Kriegsmarine arty, FLAK, shore personnel and ship's companies before army reinforcements arrived. Wish I'd paid closer attention when I walked past the TG display at London yesterday!

    2016 standard & spring catalogue - out

I was at the London ToySoldier Show yesterday and asked about the availability of the Club figures - due to be despatched early in July the Britains rep said.

    Normandy Grays??

The FL releases of Waffen-SS and Fallschirmjaeger made perfect "opponents" for the US 101st Airborne range. As the forthcoming British paras will require a similar opposing force, standard "gray" Wehrmacht grenadiers defending Pegasus Bridge would be very appropriate.

    June releases

I take it the "stripey fellas" are the Papal Guard. As for the rest in less than 24 hours we'll all know!

    “Into the Bocage”

Andy - any chance of some more D-Day Brits and their vehicles in the not too distant future? How about that Damlier armoured car?

    New Release: HEINZ HARMEL!

Impressive looking figure. Actually Harmel commanded the 10th Frundsberg, it was Walter Harzer who commanded the 9th Hohenstaufen. Actually the figure reminds me somewhat of Hardy Kruger who played "General Karl Ludwig" whose (fictional) character was a combination of both Harzer and Harmel -...
