About eight or ten years ago (not sure of the time frame) at the Chicago Toy Soldier Show dinner Matt was the guest speaker, he was asked if he ever considered producing a gate. He stated that he was considering it and then added that there were no definite plans to produce a gate.
I hope you feel better, hopefully, it is the mild version. My brother had it had in the spring and it was very mild. I caught it when it 1st hit the states and it was not fun.

I realize the show will never again be like it was prior to 9-11, when there were a lot of dealers from Europe and you could barely move in the hallways or the rooms with out bumping into someone.

I was at the National Sports Collectors Convention and the C2E2 show in April both shows were jam packed. I hope this bodes well for the Toy Soldiers show.
Chicago is fine, I am in Chicago all the time. The Museum of Science and Industry has the U-505 U-boat exhibit which is an excellent visit, also the 1st Division museum.
Home Run Inn Pizza is the best. I grew up a few streets away from the original location.
Just curious as to what other forum members collect beside toy soldiers. I also collect comics and comic related items and other non-military playsets that I had as a child.
