    A Beautiful Panzer III

Ignore my post above. I completely misread your question and missed that you were asking about the Vorpanzer on the gun mantlet, and not the turret schürzen. I tried to delete my post above, but when I caught my error it was past the 20 minute editing window. I do feel like I've seen a pic of...

    A Beautiful Panzer III

The First Legion model is accurate. Plenty of Panzer III with the short 7.5cm cannon had schürzen on the turret. I can't tell you off the top of my head if these left the factory like this or if they were added by the Panzer Werkstatt's as part of the field upgrade program. I'd have to dig a...

John Jenkins Designs Viking Dreki (Dragon) Longship (Unopened Original Red Sail Version)

Unfortunately, I just do not have room for this magnificent piece in my house, so I am selling my John Jenkins Designs Dreki (Dragon) Longship. It is the original first release red sail version in the original box and has never been opened. Comes with a TON of crew figures, rowers, a Viking...

A little late to the party, but I finally got my Tiger, too!

I just received my War Park Tiger as well. I think I'm up to six War Park Tigers now. I've got mixed thoughts on this one. The camo colors are a little bright for my tastes and the camo pattern is a little too "hard edge" for me. I think I would have preferred the slightly darker colors and...

    First Legion Forthcoming Releases

Kursk SS figures previewed. Not sure why the bases have rocks vs static grass, since they're Kursk? Other than that they look great.

    “Hitler’s Buzz Saw”

Awesome pose. A must have set for me. The hobby needs more of these realistic combat poses with troops prone and firing or hunched down and firing from behind cover, rather than all the standing "hero poses" depicting troops in combat.

    New vignettes for Chicago

The prone Airborne machinegun team looks great. I'd like to see you add a similar prone rifleman or two firing. Combined with your previous kneeling firing figure in greatcoat, that would make a great little firing line.

2 shots of the new winter ss figs.

My First Legion SS Kharkov Germans just arrived as well. I must say these figures are exceptional. Very dynamic poses, detailed sculpts, and extremely well painted & weathered. Everything I love about First Legion really came through in these figures. I can't wait to see where First Legion goes...

    1/30 Ferdinand

My prediction is it will cost between $485-$550. The First Legion King Tiger was $469. If anything, First Legion is trying to control pricing on their tanks. The newest Jagdpanzer IV Panzer Lehr version is $370.

    The M18 Hellcat has Arrived!

My only critique on the Hellcat is that the cannon is fixed in a slightly elevated position. It's a pet peeve of mine when cannons or rifles on figures are elevated, as it looks like they're firing randomly into the air. I would have preferred the Hellcat's cannon was level so that it looks...

    New German Grenadiers

Since I'm posteing a wishlist of figures, how about some German Volksgrenadiers in low-boots, overcoats, and armed with MP-44s, G-43s, and MG-42s slogging through the snow to round out your Battle of the Bulge line?

    New German Grenadiers

Forgot to add, for future releases how about some tank riders as follows: - a 5-man summer Normandy USGI squad armed with a BAR, Garands, and a Thompson - a 5-man German Grenadier squad in Zehtbahns armed with two K-98K rifles, an MP-40, an MG-42, and an MP-44!

    New German Grenadiers

Good to hear. My only there critique would be to update the decals on the helmet of the kneeling grenadier to actual decals. The handprinted decals look like two regular letter "SS"s, rather than the angular SS runes, and the swastika decal looks indistinct. Again, please take this for the...

    Welcome to Bastongne

Any preview pics of the M4A3 (76) Sherman? Did you remove the muzzle brake for the painted version? I really like the look of these new USGIs, especially the two on the left.

    New German Grenadiers

It looks like Britains is taking their paint levels up a notch. There is a lot more shading on the uniforms and equipment, and I like this a lot. However, there also appears to be a lot more shading on the faces, and I think this is actually a step backwards in realism from the recenttly...

    1/30 Ferdinand

Interesting, as this model is of the rebuilt Elefant version of the tank destroyer... The First Legion preview brochure showed an early Ferdinand appropriate for Kursk, so maybe First Legion will give us both versions.

    New products from WARPARK.

I think War Park will do a Russian tank before too long. They've been releasing Russian figures and awhile ago War Park was asking collectors which Russian tank they would want to see, so I imagine something is in the pipeline. Same thing for Western Allies. War Park has shown previews of...

    New products from WARPARK.

Tiger looks nice, but why are all the road wheels a different shade of Dunkelgelb than the Dunkelgelb on the hull/turret? Personally, I think the Dunkegelb on the wheels is a better shade, with the color on the hull/turret being a little too "yellow". I really like that War Park seems to be...

    New Forum Look

Fix the order of the posts. It's very annoying that the most recent post is on top, so every time you open a thread you have to scroll to the bottom and read upwards. Very weird.
