    WWI

For those of you that might have missed these previews earlier, we expect these new WWI figures to be available for sale during the first quarter of the 2025. The first two sets are based on a U.S. Army Signal Corps photo of 1918, with Doughboys being greeted by French civilians. We have...

    sledge

These W.Britain figures are scaled at 1/30th scale. I can’t speak about any other claims used by various manufacturers… my co-worker and I have been professional pattern makers and sculptors in the scale model industry for over 30 years now so we really try to stay as close as the particular...

    2024 Symposium

One of the highlights of our symposiums has always been the Friday workshop where up to 12 attendees can sign up for the all day hands-on class to learn our techniques for making small dioramas. Here are a few pictures from the 2024 class held in the motor pool of the WWII American Experience...

    101st

I thought you might like to see a display I built using the new set with a selection of our previously released 101st Airborne figures. I re-decaled the helmet of the M1919A6 set to use with other figures we had marked for the 506th using my Hudson & Allen US Airborne decal sheet. The first...

    2025 Collectors' Club Figures

The Standard just arrived from our printer and we will be mailing it to our club members very soon. I have been working on the new exclusive club figures so I can photograph them to include with that mailing for club members to see. Initially there will be four new figures and once finished we...

    King Tiger

No pun intended, but the engine is so well tuned on the Tiger II that is almost purred like a kitten. Waterloo is always great to visit, and the view from the top of the Lion’s Mound is terrific! Compared to the U.S. everything is so close to drive to that you can really cover some ground.

Before we went to Bastogne we spent a day at Waterloo, which was really inspirational to visit again…

    King Tiger

I just returned from a week in Belgium and Luxembourg where we escorted a 99 Year old WWII veteran for the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. In addition to seeing multiple sites we visited the Bastogne Barracks Museum where they had a great display of WWII vehicles including a Tiger...

    10th Royal Veterans Battalion 1812

You know it is my favorite period of military clothing in North America…but with that said few really understand it as it is rather regional. My Achilles heel is that I grew up in Michigan and have family in Canada. But… I do have a couple other figures already sculpted that may just be added to...

    10th Royal Veterans Battalion 1812

10th Royal Veterans Battalion Here is a figure that we have been working on for some time now. I asked a good friend of mine, Rick Simmons, to pose for this figure in his beautifully hand made reproduction uniform last year so we could get the right look to the period equipment. Even the...

“Who will take the King’s Shilling?”

Here are two more interesting paintings of Public Houses, or taverns, with recruiting parties during the 19th century. Both of these are paintings currently on display at the National Army Museum, Chelsea UK.

“Who will take the King’s Shilling?”

These 19th century watercolors were a source of inspiration when I was sculpting this set years ago. The first one predates our set by a couple of years (1800-1811) and the second one is post Napoleonic Wars by the uniform details (1816-1822), but they are both typical of what you might see...

We have those also, but at the moment they are also made as they are requested. If you need fencing, we will need to know what footprint you are covering and we can build you sections. This is the same fencing that you see in my Chicago diorama. perfect
