New Scramble for Africa Figure Clay Sculpt.

I think the Second Boer War would be an ideal conflict in which to dip their toe. I think it proved a relatively popular campaign in some prospective polls on other threads. TGM have stolen a march with their FFL range, so why not try another range not being catered for elsewhere?

New Scramble for Africa Figure Clay Sculpt.

As far as I can make out the Martini problem has almost been solved. It is still out of scale with the figure itself and the length between the first and second barrel bands is way too short. This figure doesn't appear to have a collar badge so not sure what regiment it is supposed to be but...

The Great War - A Wish List

As we are going down the vehicular route with the Great War I think an Austin Armoured Car would be a welcome addition primarily because we have already gone down the Amiens path. This should please Australian collectors as the 17th (Armoured Car) Battalion were attached to the Australian Corps...

    Through to the open fields

Nice photo. Is the mat available to buy or is this one made by yourself? I like it. Just out of interest, if JJ were to make another Whippet is there one in particular that collector's would like to see?

    WW1 Pic Of the Day

There is some conjecture as to whether this photograph of J18, a composite Mk V, was taken the day prior to or the day following the 'black day of the German Army'. I suspect it is the day before given the perceived undertaking of concealment. Furthermore, keep this photograph in mind over the...

The truly great photographs need no captions and transcend the where and the when, such as this.

    Suvla.

Of course the 9th Lancs weren't wearing this attire when they landed at Suvla and are missing their correct badge. More of a "lie-orama" than a diorama if you will.
