WW I : Commemoration and Celebration

I do like FL's mounted figures and if they did go down the Great War route then I think a North American theme may serve them well. Therefore how about the charge at Moreuil Wood?

What Range Would Interest You Most?

I had a PM a while ago about an ECW range but because I emptied my inbox at the weekend I have it no longer. However, I think it said that Alexanders Toy Soldiers are producing a gloss ECW range at some point. May have that wrong but I'm sure someone will confirm.

    Threats in pm's

To what or whom were you referring? Too much ambiguity going on this thread. Those shoes will never fit these two big plates of mine. Blasted things make me look like the letter 'L'.

    Knights of the Sky

Hi Corey I too found your post interesting. I have four JJD aircraft - two of the same model and all Allied - and as yet I haven't encountered any problems. That being said, these things are so delicate that I have fully anticipated something going awry in transit. Touch wood, all has gone well...

What was your Toy Soldier Journey by Manufacturer?

I can trace my progress up until now with some clarity. Can anyone else and what was your journey? Mine was, 1) Airfix 1:72 figures (not kits) (Collected all conflicts) 2) Britains Deetail (Collected all) 3) Esci 1:72 figures (Zulu War) Long, long sabatical - booze, birds and bands. 4)...

    This day in History

A very big day for all Anglo Zulu War aficianados. iSandlwana, the initial assault upon Rorke's Drift and the rather less 'glamorous' action on the iNyezane. I shall be remembering all today, as I do every year. God rest.

    “Commemorating & Celebrating”

If, as a collective that shares one common interest, we truly want to commemorate the events of 1914-1918 then I don’t think buying a few little figures really cuts it. If they’re Allied I will continue to buy them all until the proverbial cows return but at no point will I regard my purchase as...

What Toy Soldier items Have You Acquired in The Last 2 Weeks ?

A second S.E.5a added for the air (the first intended for ground with hangar when it arrives). A second set of K&C (yes, K&C) Cambrai figures, though have mislaid grenade man. And tank. Terrain mat for grounded JJD aircraft and crew on its way. Hurry up hangar, that's what I say!
