About ten years ago my wife was in Germany and found a toy soldier shop in Berlin. Here it is.
Also there is a toy soldier show in Germany. This info comes from Bill Hocker's site.
Kulmbach Zinnfigurenbörse, Kulmbach GERMANY, 4 days in mid August on odd numbered years. Frau Sonja Decker, email
This Compendium was published in 1998. How things have changed in twelve short years. I really enjoyed this rich source of information back then.
- Any comments or memories about this publication?
-Was there ever a second edition?
- Does anyone know what happened to Mr. Crawford?
Okay I'm going to say it straight. I hated that baseball cap, so much so that I found it hard to watch the team playing.
My psychiatrist will be pround of me :D
I don't know anything about that particular game Brad, but during the World Cup the English just didn't look good. I didn't see any coehesion, any sense of team. The point is, maybe they just aren't that good .
The last home major league baseball game I saw was watching the Expos. It was the most beautiful cap in all of baseball
But what does this have to do with Hackensack ;)
Warrior, I like the way you do business, travelling from show to show and taking in the historical sites. It's nice when it's not just business.
I will be at the Hackensack Show. How will I recognize your table?
I really like the Hackensack Show. It's the closest to where I live . I've had success there in finding what I'm looking for. Meeting other treefroggers is always a pleasure. I hope to see you all there. I'll be sporting my Treefrog button.
We could also all wear Boston Red Sox baseball...
Like across the border, Thanksgiving is a family matter. My daughter's scheduled arrival at the bus station was later than expected on Friday. She'd neglected to factor in the Thanksgiving effect where all planes trains and buses are overloaded this weekend. I enjoyed my role picking her up and...
I did not request these photos but am still enjoying them. The quality of the work is outstanding. The roof is beautiful and I like the detail of the wooden crates. The stone walls look so real. Thanks for posting Ken.
Hi Tony, Very nice sets. Your information about
... is interesting. I did not know about the French fighting the French in Syria. Most of my wife's older cousins fought in Algeria in the sixties one of whom was a Zouave. You seem to have many sets representing French soldiers. Is there a...
A comment on the 'hollow' horses. Bill Hocker's horses are also hollow on the bottom. I have some of Bill's sets and this aspect of the horses is not a problem at all. Having said that, before buying my first Hocker set, I wondered how I'd feel about the hollowness factor.
As to seeing all...
Thank you so much for taking the time. I've really enjoyed looking at all these photos.
I take it from what you've said that one can order direct from Hiriart. Is that so?
