Actually VID did not seem to me as a quality manufacturer, but these figures are pretty good.
Maybe the kits from VID are well painted, better than the original samples.

I am very glad that a dramatic Retreat from Russia serie got representatives from regular units, not just unhappy fugitives and pursuing them.
Can we expect their rivals from one the regular parts of the Great Army? may be Young Guard or one of the parts of Victor's...

I'm not a big fan of the winter series of retreats from Russia, but now it will make more sense. I hope the Russian infantry regiment in winter ammunition will have a regular French unit in the opponents not only the scattered fugures released earlier.
