Terry, I didn't take it for more than it was supposed to express ;). Was just curious what the thinking was behind that opinion.

    28mm ACW for Mike Estelle

Very interesting point...Looking at the photos and if I could find a painter that paints to the same standard, the Perry-brothers would get a big chunk of my money! It is a very interesting scale [28 mm] and there a re money companies with superb offerings out there... And I guess FL could be...

    Vive la difference

Yeah but I guess the items are produced by JJD in much lower numbers as well... I think that Figarti must be successful as well, else they wouldn't be in business anymore- so except if you have any tangible knowledge, I think you cannot say that JJD is the most successful start-up in the last...

    Vive la difference

Interesting post. Would be interested how you come to this conclusion about JJ: [In my humble opinion (only my own of course) John has been the most original of any “start-up” of the last decade… ] and I think the most successful. How would you measure how successful he is vs other...

WWII First Legion to trade for K&C

Maybe it's because you are asking K&C figures as a trade and people who collect FL might not have K&C figures to trade you or at least not the very specific ones you are asking for. Why don't you try selling them instead?

Age of the samurai in pictures

Not really comparable in quality, be it from a painting or sculpting point of view. But EoI samurai brought me into TS collecting to be honest, so at a certain point I liked them. Side by side they don't fit at all with FL, for my taste at least.

Napoleonic Paintings You Would Like to Represent

    First Legion: PanzerIII

To be honest I don't know exactly what it is made of - but the vehicles are very light and extremely well detailed. There are many threads here - probably on the Stugs - where the material of the vehicles has been debated at length - if I had more time, I would help searching.

    First Legion: PanzerIII

You won't regret getting the AK vehicle Brad. I think the weathering is really nicely done on that one as well.

    More Pics of new Militia

And then this sentence: "I would hope they would. However, it would be hard to beat the Tigers from a few years ago. Probably the best tank ever made." - taken from a Figarti thread, the author will recognise himself! Now why did you not jump in there Mr Reuss??? Because an ex-moderator wrote...

    More Pics of new Militia

Everyone can enjoy what he wants - but I am entitled to laugh out loud when reading some comments that partisans make on photos comparing FL vs others - aren't it. The same as I am entitled to laugh out loud when I see the sheer amount of so-called "responses" of some - yours included btw Peter...

    More Pics of new Militia

My first 8 figs arrived (the rest on Monday, still in customs) - no photos yet BUT these figures are just F A N T A S T I C!!! Wouw wouw wouw. The painting is the best I have ever seen on any 54mm pre-painted figure! Wellsculpting is in another league anyway. So it really makes my laugh aloud...
