New Release In the second half of 2025

Hello War Park "corporal", I wanted to tell you that I am very happy with your latest Normandy Waffen SS releases and I am impatiently waiting for future ones. In some time, after the Normandy, I hope very much that you will release figures for Battle of the Bulge. Just a remark about german...

    Panzer iii vs Jagdpanzer iv

It all depends on how much importance you give to historical reality but, unfortunately, the three jagdpanzer IV are not very accurate. For more details you can read my previous messages about them on this forum, but here is a little summary of the main inaccuracies : - BB069 : the barrel...

    A Panther Amongst the Hedgerows

Tman, unfortunately I don't have any FL Panther tanks and I don't know if I'll ever be able to get one. You say that there are some inaccuracies about these models. Is it possible please to know what they are ?. I've seen side by side photos with a JJD panther and there is a noticeable size...

    Kontakt!!

Yes Tman, I had also noticed that some FL tank inaccuracies were to keep their production costs down. The whole serie of Jagdpz IV is an obvious example ( globally PzKw IV tooling as you say ). I don't think I 'll ever get this StuG IV but I have to admit it is an attractive model.

Nice display, as usual Tman. It's just a shame that FL didn't represent Zimmerit on the StuG IV as it should have at that time ( and of course in this unit ).

    KUR010 Ferdinand #501

Yes, that's actually it : - s. pz Jg Abt 653 : 13 Ferdinands were written off between 5-27 July 1943 out of a total of 45. - s. pz Jg Abt 654 : 26 Ferdinands were written off between 5-27 July 1943 out of a total of 44. And 502 kills for both Abteilung. (I really like books from H.L. Doyle...

    More New Releases!

Just a little remark about Kursk Waffen SS figures : I wonder why all bases have this rocky appearance because Kursk battlefield was essentially grassy steppe.

    KUR010 Ferdinand #501

Personally, I find that brands exaggerate the blackening of the barrels and muzzle brakes and it is a shame that this is done systematically on all models. It is more of an artistic touch than the reality of things in regard of numerous battlefield wartime photos.

    KUR010 Ferdinand #501

Hunter, I will also add before ending the discussion that I am agree with you on the fact that some tanks left the factory with the gun /muzzle brake still in heat-resistant dark grey primer, like the photo you attached ( I 've also attached a photo of an Hetze in 1944). But I remain convinced...

    KUR010 Ferdinand #501

Hunter Rose, How aggressive your answer is !. I want only to share information in a simple way of friendly discussions. But I see that it bothers some people who perhaps consider themselves to be the supreme knowledge for "educate" the forum. What I stated " and finally the muzzle brakes of...

    KUR010 Ferdinand #501

Compared to the majority of wartime photos that I have seen, I remain convinced that there are more "unblackened" muzzle brakes than "blackened" ones (and the same for the guns without muzzle brakes). Besides, it would be more accurate to say "darkened" because blackening will only occur if the...

Yes that's correct. Personally I prefer the previous FL figures.

    KUR010 Ferdinand #501

Number 501 was one of the most photographed Ferdinand by the russians during the battle of Kursk. We are lucky to have many wartime photos showing it from all sides, so we can notably compare the real camo scheme and markings with the FL model. A short historical story : on 13 July 1943...

German fallschirmjager panzerschrek : blind shooting ?.

Hi Mark, Thanks, these are good ideas. But, given the high selling price, it's still a shame that it's up to the customer to do this ....

German fallschirmjager panzerschrek : blind shooting ?.

I managed to find the NOR033 set on Ebay and I am wondering how the shooter aims at his target. Effectively, it seems that the small aiming window isn't correctely represented and so there is absolutely no visibility (see attached photos).

War Park New Release in March - DAK Assault Team

Very interesting footage Hunter Rose. I had never seen it before and I really couldn't imagine that it was possible to shoot that way with the recoil of a weapon as powerful as a MG42. In all archive films or photos that I have been able to view all these years there was no such way of shooting...
