the indian army one looked the most attractive..the add showed people yachting, horse riding , fencing and playing golf and just a brief bit of parading around ..sign me up:D
I've got em but not in front of me :D On some container ship called the mv mumbai due to dock in 3 weeks..Big fan of these figures and some very nice diorama pieces to go with them also:cool::cool: have seen very few pics of them on the forum though...
Your pics look great scott..have you got...
not a desert collector but like the italians...the priest will be transported to the eastern front to tend to the spirtual needs of the spanish legion and the Italian Officer with Map will also find himself transferred to "Armata Italiana in Russia", ARMIR ;)
out of all the ts shops , its one of my favourites (there is also a nice model shop just around the corner (JAMIESONS MODELs 30 SALTMARKET)with some more britains stuff:) but the uk is not the cheapest place in the world to purchase . If you convert 160 pounds for the tiger you get 271 us...
With so many releases its hard to keep up with even what's available:D The frontline cemetry is quite an original piece and I didn't know it existed until i saw it in the shop. I thought the figarti set was nice online but close up its even more impressive:)
passed through Carlisle yesterday and dropped into Piers Christain. They have a nice varied collection of figures and manufacturer's . Couldn't resist buying these two sets, Figarti ready for action and a frontline cemetry set:D.
very impressed with the figarti officer and the coiled telephone...
first really cool set i got was aged 5 or 6 and it was the britains detail 7th cavalry versus the indians, and a log fort made by some other manufacterer...long since disappeared but not forgotten:D The figures always seem to be full of character:cool:
very very nice rob..great photo's. i was distracted when this came out and missed it aaaaaaaggggggghhhhh...I'm guessing its completely sold out everywhere??
Re: Seriously - Is CONTE Still in Business ?
I'm a big fan of the spartans and also the viking pieces and also strayed into the normans.....have also started collecting the 1/32 wwII german figures and artillery , to go up against some britains/fov/pipeline minatures russians:)
Re: Seriously - Is CONTE Still in Business ?
disagree don't think any gaps have been filled ......gives me a chance to catch up ...the warehouse moving and unpacking has thrown up some very nice pieces that have filled gaps in my collection..and looking forward to picking up more of the older...
Re: Seriously - Is CONTE Still in Business ?
it was all in jest..copied and pasted a blurb from a book and substituted in the word TS manufactuer as a joke.:D
