Farce, maybe. But I still don’t think anyone beats Georgia this year - including Bama. Unless the Dawgs have an unusually bad day or run of luck at some point, they look just about unbeatable. PS Don’t gamble based on my prediction ;)

I dont know Coach Hestler, what he looks like or anything about his coaching record. I do know personal attacks based on appearance, or sweeping derogatory statements about "long lines of terrible coaches" convince me of nothing other than the character of the person who said them.

Excellent WWII movie based on a true story. Tells the tale of the only survivor of a Norwegian commando unit and his incredible efforts to escape Nazi capture after a failed mission.

In some ways Freddie reminds me of another former Brave, Dale Murphy. Both were/are class acts. If pro sports, generally, had more of these kind of guys, Id be a huge fan.

Once upon a time, hoss, once upon a time. USC is a has been, never will be again. Rest on those laurels, it’s all you got and all you’ll ever have.

    NCAA Football 2019

Losing to fellow SEC powerhouse Bama is hardly embarrassing. Losing to a PAC 12 or Big 10 school, now that’s shameful. When USC becomes relevant in football again, do let us know. If not for being the alma mater of OJ Simpson, few would even know they have a football team.

    2019 Baseball season

The entire city of Atlanta was enthralled with those Braves. Even my mother, who wasn’t a baseball enthusiast before, or after, despite that I played the sport thru college, was into them. Maddux was an Everyman kind of pitcher, an artist of a sort. He did not have an overwhelming arm,. But he...

Ouch. But true. Thank the lord for Smoltz! 15-4 postseason. Regardless, the Braves came up short of the big trophy far too many times.

    2019 Baseball season

Atlanta sports fans with half a brain, and a bit of memory, know well to never, ever start counting chickens. But, it was fun watching that favor being returned. Apparently, that's a record for the playoffs, to lose by at least 8 runs and then win by at least 8 runs the next game.
