    New German Grenadiers

It looks like Britains is taking their paint levels up a notch. There is a lot more shading on the uniforms and equipment, and I like this a lot. However, there also appears to be a lot more shading on the faces, and I think this is actually a step backwards in realism from the recenttly...

    1/30 Ferdinand

Interesting, as this model is of the rebuilt Elefant version of the tank destroyer... The First Legion preview brochure showed an early Ferdinand appropriate for Kursk, so maybe First Legion will give us both versions.

    New products from WARPARK.

I think War Park will do a Russian tank before too long. They've been releasing Russian figures and awhile ago War Park was asking collectors which Russian tank they would want to see, so I imagine something is in the pipeline. Same thing for Western Allies. War Park has shown previews of...

    New products from WARPARK.

Tiger looks nice, but why are all the road wheels a different shade of Dunkelgelb than the Dunkelgelb on the hull/turret? Personally, I think the Dunkegelb on the wheels is a better shade, with the color on the hull/turret being a little too "yellow". I really like that War Park seems to be...

    New Forum Look

Fix the order of the posts. It's very annoying that the most recent post is on top, so every time you open a thread you have to scroll to the bottom and read upwards. Very weird.

    Thanks for the kind words.

First Legion WW2 Kharkov SS Germans

Kollos, Can you post the entire picture? I'd love to see what the Kharkov 008 figure looks like, along with the Russian assault troops. Thanks!

First Legion WW2 Kharkov SS Germans

All the post-COVID released figures I have bought from FL look exactly like the pictures on their website, so I think the Kharkov Germans will be the same. I ordered all of them so I can post some pictures when they arrive if you have not made up your mind on which ones you want I just love the...

First Legion WW2 Kharkov SS Germans

First Legion released some WW2 Kharkov SS Germans, and I must say they look pretty good. I am also extremely excited to see that First Legion plans to cover Kharkov in depth. Excellent job First Legion. Keep up the good work.

    New items arriving soon!

Ken, You really need to add a walking BAR gunner and someone carrying a .30 Cal Browning machine-gun to really round out the walking column. Love the walking figures.

New Releases for May 2024 - Second World War

The pics John sent me of the factory sample had the track teeth facing inward like the historic pics. I think John just forgot that little non-standard detail when he took all the pics for the release announcement. The distance from the turret sides to the holes in the track sections that the...

    John Jenkins and Warpark

As others have mentioned, War Park figures absolutely work with JJD vehicles. And if you pre-ordered the JJD Grossdeutschland Kharkov grey Stug pictured below, realize that all those War Park Kharkov SS infantry/panzergrenadier figures are historically accurate to display with it too. SS...

    Couldn't resist

Any chance you could confirm you've got some earlier Sherman versions in the works that are appropriate for Normandy? Maybe a cast hull M4A1 75mm?

JJD Panther Spare Tracks - How to Install?

No problem at all. Glad to help. While First Legion is my favorite size-wise, War Park, W. Britains, and Xuan Hua figures all work just as well in my opinion. I mix and match a lot between those brands.

JJD Panther Spare Tracks - How to Install?

Here's how to get the JJD Panther track links on the rear hull sides with reference pics. 1. The track links have one side that is open, and one side that has the track link pin molded in. Orient the track link section so the side with the track link pin is on the top. 2. One prong goes on top...

JJD Panther Spare Tracks - How to Install?

I'll get you pictures and write a short tutorial later today after I wake up and have some coffee. The prongs do NOT need to be pinched together and no modifications need to be made to the prongs. Once you invoke the secret rites written in the Panther-Fibel, it's a breeze. :salute::

    M18 Hellcat

Those are both beautiful models. I hope you have a 90mm turret in the works to convert the M10 into an M36 Jackson tank destroyer at some point in the future.
