I think it shows the craftsman that John is. He does his research very well. I totally agree that if John started to make WW2 tanks he would do very well. I have a few of the WW1 tanks John did and they are fantastic.

Mike, that is very cool looking. I would not worry about the Indians getting in through the gate. You got a big hole in the side of the wall there! :-)

I hate just a static pose. The poses have to have life to them. Especially when our dioramas set up is more of a skirmish. We have a lot of great Indian poses and the early rangers and those from a few years back are really good.

Sadly, only in the dream I had last night. It felt so real.
I am hoping that folks will also say how much they want some Canadian militia.
I want them so much, I'm dreaming about them.

The new Canadian Militia from John are going to be fantastic. We have never had Canadian militia figures revisited for the Monongahela range. I can see so many uses for these figures. Very few folks were lucky back in 2006 to get some of these limited edition figures.
I am just really...
Just to add to the answer for paints. I know John uses vallejo paints. I find they cover well. Reaper make some nice paint, but I find some do not cover too well.

I have these as well as damaged sections and corners.
Send me a PM with a way to contact you.

I really like the officer and drummer. I tried to get more of the original drummer but he sold out. I think this new sculpt is fantastic. I placed my order for two sets.

Very nice. I too game with my Jenkins figures and have a game set up on my table now. Here's some shots of the initial setup.

I have some of the landing craft and "dragon teeth" as well as some of the water traps if you are interested. They are just taking up space in their boxes so I would sell them at a very good price.

For young kids, the soft plastic Conte figures are the best. My 7 year old has them as well as the D Day hard plastic Americans. The hard plastic are too fragile.
