I loved this show as a kid. When I was working I would pass the news building ( The Old Colony Building) everyday going to work. My buddies and I would also try to find the Chicago street scenes.

A few reasons and there are many more. 1. To many people vote straight ticket 2. Biased news 3. Only the politicians that can be bought receive the most campaign contributions from the big corporations.

About eight or ten years ago (not sure of the time frame) at the Chicago Toy Soldier Show dinner Matt was the guest speaker, he was asked if he ever considered producing a gate. He stated that he was considering it and then added that there were no definite plans to produce a gate.

I was at the National Sports Collectors Convention and the C2E2 show in April both shows were jam packed. I hope this bodes well for the Toy Soldiers show.

Chicago is fine, I am in Chicago all the time. The Museum of Science and Industry has the U-505 U-boat exhibit which is an excellent visit, also the 1st Division museum. Home Run Inn Pizza is the best. I grew up a few streets away from the original location.

This is very good news, I am looking forward to a great show.
