Finally done with this figure.

Fully sanded down and reshaped, especially the legs. Now to repair and add the details.

I removed most of the thick paint on the face by diluting with thinner and repainted it. Almost done except to add the reins and do up the groundwork.

I redid the shabraque shapes and then puttied over the seating area to mask the jagged edges.

I decided to add a Roman spear to Tausius as he had assassinated the emperor with a spear. He is represented in the Cafe Storme Mokarex range as he was from a minor Belgian tribe who rose up to join the Praetorian Guard.

Added putty to the right hand and rebuilt the sash.

Added a body. Will drill later and add pin legs.

Removed more material. I separated the back legs to get at the undersides.

I removed all the fur from the hind legs. I think the proportions look even better to me. Now to continue to shape the musculature.

Ive knocked up the cuirass and head of this fig. Remodelled the neck of the horse. A pair of possible boots to be used. This piece will be based on a ptg of William on horseback.

This pony is almost done. Notice the reworked hoof and fetlock. I selected an old abandoned Tradition fig with a muscular cuirass for the rider.

The fig is nearly done, except for the sash.

I looked at pix of Bactrian camels and decided to reshape the whole beast. Did a lot of work with my drills. Changed the position of the neck, humps and shortened the legs. Also removed some fur here and there. I mounted the drums onto the camel with pins. The mtd figure can reach the drums...

Picked up this piece and decided to doodle further with it. The mtd fig was completely redone. I lowered the saddle.

I decided to shorten the torso of the fig. Disassembled all the components to saw off the torso.

I made up the back flaps for the tunic. I had originally intended to use the Airfix G Washington parts but they were just too big.
