I've been advised by other vintage Britains collectors to allow the figures to breath. Cardboard breathes plastic doesn't. You don't want to take any chances here. Cotton batten also can hold moisture, acid-free tissue paper is the best option. Relatedly, Oak cabinets are bad apparently because...

Pat or anyone, when I go to the London show I'm going to be looking for the Britains elephants. What is the going rate for these at the moment or what should I be expecting to have to pay (if I can find any?).

Good tip on the Churchill wing of the Cabinet Rooms - will visit. I will have to see if I can fit an afternoon in for Bovington, although I doubt I will have time since I'm not in control of my schedule.
