Acid-free tissue paper is the way to go.

I would suggest acid-free tissue paper for long-term storage, otherwise eventually the paper will react with the lead/paint.

I'm not sure if this has been asked before. If so, please direct me to the thread. I will be attending the December toy soldier show and thought I would also check London militaria/antique shops for soldiers. Does anyone know any such shops in London?

Did this happen, I haven't noticed a difference....

Bob, Thanks for the tip about Newbury Toys. Checked the website (froze my Firefox but works with IE) and will have to drop by. Does it carry second-hand figures? The shops email is full so couldn't get a message through. The Camden Stables website is as confusing as ever. The place looks huge...

Richard, I just downloaded a K&C wallpaper from their site. Seems like a good idea, why don't you consider when updating your site. You could easily use some of the stock photos or ones from shows.

Re: London soldier/antique shops Thanks for all the advice on London and Paris soldier shops. Will have to check Portobello road and the other suggestions. I heard Stephen Naegel no longer has his shop but sells from home. I don't have a link or ebay lD. Interesting about Paris...
