What with the excellent Anthropoid film, and the forthcoming film of the book HHhH, I am regretting not picking up the Heydrich assassination set first time around. With all this new analysis, surely the time is ripe for a new K&C interpretation? I do hope so.

The recent winter Fallschirmjager are welcome. However, there seems to be an abundance of white washed troops. Some would think this is an answer to rising painting costs? Normandy camouflage, Ramcke Brigade, Crete and Fort Eben Emael would prove very popular for collectors.

Has anybody else got this? The gun itself is excellent, however I am somewhat disappointed with the painting of the accompanying figures, particularly the baseless gun aimer. The flesh colour from the face is bleeding on to the base of the helmet, and the facial painting is not up to the usual...

These frozen Germans really are superb figures. Sorry to appear pedantic, but the nozzle of the barrel and the butt of the MP40 appear to be silver whereas the rest of the weapon is gun metal. Is this intentional, or have I got a slightly chipped figure?

Enough of all this webbing, shovel and girl talk, where's the despatches thread? Hoping for Fallschirmjager - Eben Emael, Normandy, Gran Sasso or North Africa would be lovely....

I am very impressed by the First Legion figures, particularly the new Fallschirmjagers. Unfortunateley, in the UK they are somewhat expensive. Do any UK members know of a good source at a reasonable price, or maybe a cost effective way of importing them?

With TM Terrain no longer being a dealer, will there be any other First Legion dealers at the London Toy Soldier show next week?? I'm hoping so!!
