    TET'68... The Battle Begin...

Thanks Jazzeum. I’ve read many of the classic Vietnam war books, but not come across Tim O’brien’s. Also, though not direclty about Hue, but Karl Marlantes’s Vietnam book Matterhorn is superb.

    KING & COUNTRY Dispatches -- April 2018

I think I get Walsingham’s concerns. I have bought all the Folgore, but have held off on this Ramcke brigade. At the risk of being shot down, - for just some honest thoughts from a long standing collector.. There seems to be a subtle lack of detail in some of the figures (Ramke and Folgore)...

    Fallschirmjäger

Yes, I would welcome that. Some years ago, K&C did some nicely done Crete FJs of which I have a few. Maybe early war smocks might help to keep the cost down e.g. Capture of Fort Eben Emael? As long as the helmets have the decals!!

    The new Folgore

Well said Enrico! These figures are superb. It would have beeen nice to have the blue insignian more prominently displayed, Also, I think any Fallschirmjager toy soldoers should have the helmet decals, If it is a cost cutting initiative, then I would say that these details are important to...

    The new Folgore

Thank you. Yes, I am aware that not all helmets had the decals and I was not suggesting otherwise. Toy soldiers often accentuate the identity and characteristics of renowned units. It is a mixture of realism and artistic license. My own personal preference is that any Fallschirmjager in my...

    The new Folgore

I've been waiting a long time for these Folgore, and they look very good indeed. I agree about the blue tunic insignia being an important part of the Folgore identity. I'm glad to hear that some of the figures have this, and it would be great to have a close up of those that do in order to take...

BB009-BB018 German Waffen SS & Heer Panzer Grenadiers Pre-Order

These are superb looking figures, but the price is certainly an issue. Many UK dealers have stopped stocking FL due to poor exchange rate. Those that do charge £1 to the $1, so £80 for a figure seems a tad expensive. A shame because FL produce superb figures, but now, many collectors, myself...

    KING & COUNTRY Dispatches -- January 2018

Very happy to see Ramcke brigade Fallschirmjager. Great figures. I especially like the Comms officer. Just a question about the helmets: Did the Ramcke brigade have the traditional swooping eagle on the side of the helmet?

What I'd like to see in 2018.

Would certainly be interested in ‘Guns Of Navarone’ perhaps incorporating some Kriegsmarine? Enjoyed ‘Heroes Of Telemark’ on BBC2 tonight. Fine ski combat scenes, but perhaps a little obscure for mass market... QUOTE=arnhem44mad;806678]What about the cast of: The Guns of Navarone The Eagle...

Looking forward to the new Folgore. Also, some fighting Kriegsmarine to offer some dockside opposition to my Commandos would be most welcome.....

    Finding Pvt. Ryan

“That was a recon element, 2nd SS. We've been expecting a probe. That must have been it.” Classic figure. Very well done.
