I am going through a large collection for a friend and I can't find this figure of Queen Elizabeth on horse back saluting. Can someone let me know what set this goes to? Thanks in advance.
This person must have loved to make bands. I think this is US Cavalry band but not sure of the date. The figures are solid and it appears they were cast from a Britains set since you can see the markings on the bottom of the horses. There are a total of 15 pieces. Thanks again for the help.
Still going through a large collection a friend inherited and just found a 7 piece solid core band. They range in size from 2 1/2" to the tall one which is just under 4" and most have moveable arms. The only marking is on the base of each one "WD". Any information would be appreciated.

Here are some photos of the set I have. No number just a certificate stating the number made and what it is. Thanks for the information. Houston just had a 96" water main break and parts of the city are flooding and large part of the city is without water. Go figure?
I acquired the following Guards & Garrisons set: Charles Gerard's Bluecoat Regiment. I found information about this regiment, but after a search on the net I haven't found any mention of the maker Guards & Garrisons. I would appreciate any information anyone can provide about this company.
This came in a Steadfast Soldier box, but the label on the end of the box doesn't match what is pictured. Looking for the SF number of this mule and cart. Thanks in advance.
Mike thanks so much for the information, I would have never been able to come up with that explanation. What I couldn't understand was why the bottom markings were disturbed in such a way you couldn't make them out. Your explanation answers that question. With what you have explained to me and...
This is from the same collection I asked about before. It appears to be Britain's figure and they have been repainted. The drum major has a red strip down his pants leg that might be US Marine type uniform, but that is only a guess. Hopefully someone will recognize what original owner was trying...
I will ask the owner for the name of the person he inherited the collection from. I only know he has several tubes full and everything is mixed up which makes it very difficult to sort out. Did the markings on the bottom give any clues?
Thank you for the replies. My eyes aren't as sharp as they use to be and after looking at the bases again, I noticed writing on the Drum Major base, I removed the paint and this is what was revealed. I have included two photos since it appears it was stamped twice. The figure is solid. I hope...
I am helping a friend that inherited a large collection. I am new and having a hard time identifying pieces without any makers marks. I have looked through auctions, web sites, and am having a hard time with this group. They appear to be US Marines, but I haven't been able to find a match. Any...
