    Old K & C Scenes - First efforts

Here are a couple of displays I made about a year ago. I found these photos on a CF card that I had not used in awhile. The displays don't exist anymore, as after a month or two, I sweep the sand/ground cover out, and set up a new display. They are not that accurate or realistic, but they were...

    Strange Panzer

The Panzer painted grey was on the Treefrog table at the Chicago show. It had a card saying "Only Available for Pre-Order". It looked great, especially the nice weathering effect. Mike

    Strange Panzer

A week after getting the tank, I was in a Barnes & Noble bookstore ( the military section, of course ). I came upon a book about early German tanks in the war. Flipping through the book, I came upon the K & C tank : the PzKpfw. 1 Ausf. F VK 1801 - Infantry Support Tank. It said 30 of these...

    Strange Panzer

What do you guys think of this tank ? When I saw it in a professional K & C brochure, I thought the tank looked great but also strange with the wide Tiger Tank-like tracks, narrow early war tank body and microscopic turret (see bottom photo). When I saw it at the Chicago Show, it really pops...

    Finished M12 Normandy Diorama.

Great diorama. I like the flat stones under the M12.

    Patriot Napoleonic french

Great photos. Is that the wall that K & C put out a couple of years ago ? No Brunswickers yet, they will be next. The British coming out also look well detailed like the French.

    Frontline OTSN and other photos

Hello, tdubel has most of the Frontline display photographed in a previous thread. The only thing not pictured are the large selection of knights displayed to the left of the WWI trench and battlefield display and the Zulu War items. The main focus seemed to be WWI. Mike

    Frontline OTSN and other photos

Here are some photos from the 2008 Chicago Show and a couple of other Napoleonic shots. The Frontline Napoleonic figures are great, they are like a cross between a traditional glossy toy soldier with the pose and size but with a Matte finish. I think these two Armies are being retired. I...

    Polizei Armoured Car

Credit crunch and poor gas mileage. I think the Army switched over to a VW Beetle with a Machine Gun mounted on the sunroof. According to "German Early War Armored Fighting Vehicles" -George Bradford 2007 Stackpole Books ------ After Germany annexed Austria, it selected 14armored cars from...

    Polizei Armoured Car

Here are a couple of line drawings of the Armored car. From what I have read, they made about 52 of these vehicles. Mike

    First K & C figure revisited

Hello, That figure only cost $19.00 when new. The flag bearer and drummer were a little bit more. Man, I wish I would have bought more, I think I got them right before they were retired. Mike

    First K & C figure revisited

That is a great Veitnam display, especially the boat and bison(water buffalo?) The display looks like it came out of Apocalypse Now, hopefully the bison will get out of there before he ends up like his buddy at the end of the movie. Those Russian Samurai are awesome. I bought 5 Samurai on ebay...

    H & A bases from OTSN 2008

Here is another base I got at the show. It is a little bit smaller, but has barbed wire that has a nice rusty apperance and an old tree stump. It sort of looks like my backyard, except for the wire.

    H & A bases from OTSN 2008

Hello I bought this base from H & A at the Chicago show. It is about 9" X 6". When seen in person the grass and mud/soil look real. I have included pictures of different companies figures on the same base.

    First K & C figure revisited

Hopefully I am not overstaying my welcome with all the photos, but I finally figured out a couple weeks ago how to get my old camera working on the computer properly and how to resize photos to post here. Here are a couple more :
