    CTS Alamo Chapel

Hi George. As always, nice seeing you again at the show. I saw the chapel on Johns table and made the mistake of making a mental note to go back and buy it. Anything mental these days is not my thing. I guess I'll call him and see if he still has it. Thanks for the reminder, Andy

Movies that you can,t help yourself from watching.

Thats the one... My daughters know when I'm watching it, by the sound of my Hubley .45 cap gun shooting at the tv. It's funny, Arness graduated to a starring role in "Them" from playing the THING in "The Thing". But the biggest surprise was when Walt Disney made Fess Parker his Davy Crockett...

The Last Days Of George Armstrong Custer - Thom Hatch

I picked this up last week, read it on and off, almost finished it. IMO an excellent book on Custer and "THE BATTLE". Goes into detail on just about every aspect of Custer's Civil War career, Indian experience and the make-up of the 7th Cavalry among many other interesting facts. I won't say...

    Black Sails

I'ved liked this show from the start. The only changes I would have made are.... Make Vance the lead male character, much more interesting than the whitebread Flint, and give Anne Bonney, a real pirate, a larger role, which it seems they've done with both roles. AAAAARRRRRRRRR

Role in Roman Legion or Army

Many different titles to the series, but I remember sitting with my friends, first on Saturday mornings and then on Sunday mornings. An interesting thing about the series, was every core group of friends had a Mahoney, a Satch, etc. Also, not many people knew that Louie was Mahoney's father in...

What are the Forum members reading

"1632" by Flint. If you started collecting the new "Pike and Musket" by K&C, it's an interesting read, alternate history. I read this book every few years and never get tired of it. Just bought a leather bound copy of it, autographed by the author...

Pike & Musket - my first four

I never thought I'd say this about a K&C figure.... I totally agree, their faces are very full of character... So much that I have moved them to a self almost eye-level so that I can enjoy them all the more. And on a side note, just ordered the first book in the "Stryker Chronicles" ... Thanks
