LWG045 T34/85 version could not fight in 1944

Effectively, First Legion depicts a "composite" turret ( Factory/Zavod 112) with two separate roof vents : one at the rear and one toward the front of the turret roof. This improved ventilator arragement was only produced from April 1945 onward ( and post-war). There are very few wartime photos...

    Scale of War Park Figures

As some other brands, size of WARPARK figures are sometimes different from each other. The smallest match well with First Legion and William Britain and the biggest can match with King and Country and Thomas Gunn.

Suggestion for improvement : horses and riders positioned straight and not leaning.

At 200 bucks the rider, I think it is not a bad thing to "overthinking" a little. And if no one ever says anything, how defects can be corrected by the manufacturers in future productions ( I know that brands are going on this forum ). After, yes effectively, everyone is free to settle for...

Suggestion for improvement : horses and riders positioned straight and not leaning.

I have noticed that some horses and/or riders are sometimes positioned noticeably leaning instead to be normally straight on the legs or in the saddle. It is not very realistic and given the price of a rider it is really a shame that there is this defect. And, in regard of the horses, it is not...

Trouble with French 4th cuirassier FPW033

The saber is not pointing upwards as shown in the photo of the First Legion site but downwards. It is a shame because the pose looks a lot like the other cuirassier FPW031. Perhaps a factory error during the assembly of the right arm/hand of the figure but the problem is that it seems that this...

    Comparing Manufacturers

Hi, About figure size comparison, I posted a thread ( Figure size comparison on 5 November 2023 ) which pehaps could be of some interest for you. In summary, King and Country and Thomas Gunn are noticeably oversized compared with other brands such Team Miniatures, War Park, William Britain and...

Suggestion for improvement : straight weapons

I have noticed that some figures have not straight but curved weapons ant notably rifle butts and spears ( lancers for example ). Here are some photos to illustrate this and you can see that it is not very realistic. About french Red Lancers NAP0425 and Polish lancers NAP0698, there is also...

    Arm adjustments trouble

I have noticed that some figures have not precise arm adjustments. The most common are notably the standing firing poses of AZW british 24th Foot. It would be nice if more rigorous quality controls could be done by the brands.

Suggestion for improvement 1 : more precise head adjustments

I have noticed that some figures have not very precise head adjustments and notably many shooting or loading poses. Effectively, the soldiers seem to be looking elsewhere instead of aiming at their target or looking at their rifle ( in case of reloading ). Here are some photos to illustrate this :

New Jagdpanzer IV NOR101 still not historically accurate

Hello tmanthegreat, I really appreciate these kinds of "constructive comments" on this forum. At the same time, I wanted to tell you that your dioramas with a tank and a group of soldiers accompanying it are very well done and attractive. In regard of NOR101, I remain convinced that it is not...

New Jagdpanzer IV NOR101 still not historically accurate

First Legion continues to decline its german Jagdpanzer IV with this new release NOR101 but, unfortunately, always not historically accurate such the two previous items : - BB069 : first SS panzer division during BOB had never had this version but only the L/70 version with the longer gun. -...
