The new winter Hetzer is awesome!

I have two of the original TGM Hetzers. I like the tanks, but felt the MG34 or 42 was too small. Look like the new ones have the same smallness.

    Hardcore History podcast

Currently listening to Dan Carlin's Hardcore History podcast on Spotify about the battle of Midway. Very good, but 3-hours long. Also excellent was the Celtics vs the Romans. If you're stuck behind a computer like I am, give it a listen.

    Blaster Collection

Victor and John, looking good. I didn't realize flats were so diverse. Ray, who used to post on the Forum, really opened my eyes to them. Where is that guy?

I've been a Forum member for more than 10-years. I started thinking about all the members that have passed before us. Its a lot. I mean a lot. I can still remember their posts with fondness and what they used to say.

    Remember or forget the Alamo?

Well said Al. Sadly, my 22-year old daughter went to San Antonio for a wedding and I told her to check out the Alamo. Her reply was, "What is that?" I said, what do they teach you in school?

    Vietnam Suggestions

I still think KC should make a Sheridan tank. Although the snapping/pancake turtle shaped turret might be difficult to make.

    John Wayne Revisited

I need to revisit, The Searchers. I didn't care for it, but I remember UKReb loving that movie.

    John Wayne Revisited

I like Horse Soldiers, War Wagon and The Alamo. Green Berets was good too. I don't think The Longest Day would qualify as a John Wayne movie.

    Vacation 2021

Mike, fat is flavor. Put salt on it. Yum, yum. Especially, that big piece of fat in the prime rib that melts in your mouth. Where's John from Texas to back me up? I like top sirloin too. Leaner, but has good beef flavor. Sam, took my daughter to college in Fort Collins, Colorado during summer...

My Family Trip to Historic Williamsburg, Virginia

That's really surprising. Despite being a large caliber, maybe not much powder to produce huge recoil. When see I those muskets in the museum, they look like they weigh 20-pounds.

    Afghanistan

I would like KC to revisit Afghanistan. The SAS soldier pointing the pistol is an excellent sculpt. So much so, I was thinking of getting a duplicate.

My Family Trip to Historic Williamsburg, Virginia

Very cool Louis. I wonder what the recoil is like on a musket? Plus the length and weight of it. The East Coast has so much history.

    COVID the 3rd

I'm starting to personally know more people getting Covid. I believe more people will get vaccinated once they witness their friends and family suffer from this virus. I never take the flu shot, but I got vaccinated because the Covid can be really bad. I think the severity of illness is...

    Trip to Antietam

Louis, what did you think about the Confederate defensive position overlooking the Burnside bridge?

What are the Forum members reading

Good for you Mike. As I near retirement, I too, worry about my finite life. I want to be in good physical and mental shape in my golden years. I want to do most of the things I missed when I was younger, while I was busting my butt making a living and raising kids. If I die from covid, I would...

Why the interest in meditation Mike? Nothing wrong with that, just curious.

    The Olympics

I'm enjoying the Olympics. Watching the obscure events. BMX racing, skateboarding, fencing, archery and handball. Fencing is nothing like the three musketeers. The archery guys sure look out of shape. I also like track and field, especially hurdles.
