Well, after 35 days my DAK PzII is here, and what a beauty it is!
It follows the JJD steps, so all of you who are used to heavy KnC tanks will probably be disappointed. What I do like most is that it has basically the same brownish tone used in the DAK FL line, although FL uses a lighter tone...
I am not a pro-FL and anti-KnC collector or vice versa, but the fact is, as a model painter I am, that I would need "X" time to paint a figure or vehicle in KnC style and probably "3X" time to do in the FL style, hope it helps.
What a shame, DAK005 was a very look after and magnificent tank, I would never had done it, besides Figarti also produced this grey tank in an excellent way.
Anyway, item was yours and you are free to do whatever you want with it :salute::

Well, it is about to be finished...and I must say I am really happy with the final look. It looks like a totally different product to the original NMA vehicle.
Some progress has been done, but not finished yet. I made some errors... which is good to learn. I wanted to match with FL style as they will be together in the same display, which I know I will never get, but I am happy with it anyway {sm3}
lo
Tank commanders of DAK PzIIIs fit very well in the out of stock grey PzIVs, so they also will work well in the out of stock DAK PzIVs, however new tank crews are always welcome!
Re: Sd.Kfz 232 Size comparison
You are right, most of the FL is 1/30 and TCS is 1/28, but this may be the exception that proves the rule.
Actual vehicle length was 5.85 m (19 ft 4 in) divided by 32 is aprox. 18 cm, which is the length of our FL and NMA models.
Hi gents,
Firstly let me say that I love my FL 222 and I don't want to start a new "scale war" {sm4}
Today I was looking for a cheap and old model in my collection to repaint it in order to add it to my FL DAK collection. What I found out is that New model army 222 is almost identical to FL in...
Many thanks!
I purchased the DAK version, and will review it as soon as I get it.
The next release from this brand will be a Pz III, lets hope they keep the same level as did with the Pz II.
