Here is my latest 90mm production: Subaltern Officer, 85th (Buck Volunteers) Light Infantry – Peninsula War 1813 – Ref AB3 from Bonapartes Co (UK). This is the second British soldier I have done. If you have Mike Chappell's Wellington Peninsula Regiments (2) book from Osprey, it appears on page...

    Toy Soldier Stores in Madrid?

Hi Luiz, you can look on http://www.andreaeurope.com/en/shop-finder.html for the list of Andrea Miniatures resellers in Madrid. Like La Flecha Negra, they carry other brands. Click on Where to buy at the top of that page to get the shop finder per country/town.

    Grognard's New Painting Project!

Here is fresh from my brushes my latest piece: Polish Lancer Trooper (1810-1812) – 90mm from Almond Sculptures, Ref AS/A4. Another favorite of mine in the Napoleonic Imperial Guard! This one was much easier than Général Fournier-Sarlovèze I did below in that thread...As usual before and after...

    Primer brushes?

I am not using a spray yet (I don't do mass painting like John :wink2:) so with primer I use regular brushes that I clean up using lacquer thinner. So far, so good!

    Toysoldiers in Paris

Will be in Paris in July and will give it a visit as well. I too visited that one 10+ years ago and indeed it looks like they have changed things. I do remember that the gentleman who was there was heavily smoking cigars in the shop (not good for the inventory)...Not sure if he is still there.

    Belle and Sebastian - 2013

This is a remake of an extremely popular French TV series of the 60's-70's (Belle et Sébastien). I used to watch it on my parents' first TV (black and white) back then...Looks like they have changed the scenario since I don't recall any nazis in it but just stories around the simple life in the...

    Grognard's New Painting Project!

Here is my latest painting release: Général Count François Louis Fournier-Sarlovèze! This fine 90 mm figure is from Pegaso Models, sculptor: Victor Konnov. This one is inspired from the famous painting by Antoine-Jean Gros. To me this is one of the most beautiful figure around due to the...

    Red lancers with bent lances?

I would not fall into paranoia on that one. FL and pretty much all TS from known manufacturers are well packaged. Also you do have their warranty if something arrives damaged...

How much do pre-owned FL figures generally go for?

It's supply and demand driven taking into account that FL produces limited editions (IOW they don't produce 100's of thousands of each figure). Some I think are very limited editions (~300 units). Usually everything retired years ago can go for higher than the original retail price. The...

Back page of Sept-Oct- Nov issue Figurines Magazines (#117)

I am not collecting medieval TS (only Naps as you may know :wink2:) but if you are into that era, maybe the back page of the last issue of Figurines Magazine I bought in Madrid in November could be of interest:

La Flecha Negra TS store in Madrid (Spain)

When in Madrid in November, I was on the look for TS stores to get some Andrea Miniatures kits (since Andrea HQ is in Madrid). While there are a few of them in Madrid, I picked La Flecha Negra since they are a FL and K&C reseller. The store is in a little side street East of Madrid downtown...
