    Pantherturm Project Begins!

I've decided to build a Pantherturm emplacement that will be based on several different photos. These "Ground Turrets" were used quite effectively in Italy, on the Atlantic and West Walls and elsewhere. My turret started out as an Ausf. A turret, the 30 year old Tamiya kit and as you can see...

    South Anna R.R. Redoubt Project

Please Do Reb, I would love to see a picture, sketch, anything. I only live about 20 minutes from both of them but still don't have a wartime image of any kind. Thanks, razorboy

    South Anna R.R. Redoubt Project

In 10mm scale, this is proving to be a challenge. When complete this will represent a reasonably accurate depiction of the Confederate Railroad Redoubt - Virginia Central R.R. at the South Anna River Bridge. There are to my knowledge no photos of this earthwork, I have however, personally...

Here is a kit I built in about 1980. 1:35 scale MkII and figure, both from Tamiya. Humbrol and Polly-S paints used throughout. Not my best but I had fun building it. razorboy

    Bring Ammo!

Heller 1:35 scale figure and scratchbuilt wheelbarrow. Gebirgsjager taking ammo to his gun crew. Yes, that is a blue wheelbarrow and whoever was using it only got a shovel-full in it before the shooting started! razorboy

Opel Blitz / flak38 A Work in Progress - DONE!

This is where I'm at with the Blitz Diorama. I've blended the ground tones to better match the paint on the truck, retouched the wall with a lighter colour as well. All of the vegetation and rocks are in place, all that's left is to paint the crew. razorboy

Under Construction -1/35 Opel Blitz flak

Well I got the gun assembled, painted and permanently mounted to the bed today. Got the gun in 3 different colors, it's original gray, a sort of British desert khaki and a dark yellow. Still have a little "fine tuning" to be done here and there. Here's the latest pics.
