    Also lengthened the neck and decided that it will be a full dress marine uniform which is more colourful than the drab khaki uniform. I'll do the drab uniform for my sousaphone piece. I selected a salute pose and then reworked the leg pose drastically to get a correct seat.

    I reworked Diego pose drastically to place his hands around Frida's waist. Also turned up his right leg to show a dance step.

    As I study this piece, I understand why I abandoned it a few years back. The pose wasn't spot on. Notice that the buttons aren't vertical and the fig seems to lean slightly. So I removed the legs and will substitute them.

    After my frenzy of spring cleaning, I pored over my gray collection and pondered the possibilities of doing more pieces in between the big dioramas. Since Frida is mostly done, I only have to finish Diego to start painting.
