Still going through a collection of soldiers and found this one. It looks similar to the Series 77 miniatures "The Americans" but can't find this particular one. Any help would be appreciated. The second photos is just a little closer that the first one.
Thanks Mike for the information and links. I will check them out and see what I can learn. The first thing I did when I found them was look for the Britains mark, but I can't find anything and since many of them have lost paint it should be easy to spot. I hoping someone else will provide more...
Good Morning All: Found a small box with these figures inside. No markings, but they appear to be Britains Series B. I haven't been able to find anything on line that matches. They measures just over 2" and are hollow core. They all appear to be the same except the horses are different colors...
It appears I should just send you the questions direct. Thanks for the information. I didn't think it was by anyone special, but I though I would just ask, since he went to the trouble of signing and dating the figures. Thanks again for taking the time to answer ALL my questions.
Stay Safe and...
I am still going through the large collection of figures and came across some with "Mickey Talbot" written on the bottom and was wondering if anyone does/knew him. Here are a couple of examples of what I found:
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for all the comments. Of course I am now more confused than when I started. It appears that whoever painted the sapper miss a few of the finer points or just didn't follow the paint instructions. Thanks to everone for the help.

The scan below is from Military Uniforms of he World in Color and the figure in 190 is the one that appears to me to be the figure of the sapper I submitted below. Any comments or corrections to my observation, as always will be appreciated.

Looks like the Sapper is France Imperial Guard 2nd Conscrit Chassuers, 1810. I found him in another book I have. The hat is exactly the same and the plume is the same red over green. Would still like to know who the figure was made by.

I'm back, the first two are Hinton Hunt and I think they are French Grenadiers, but they have some differeces in there coats, hats and pants. The single figure I think I found to be Berg: Infantry Regimental Pioneer, 1812, but the book I am using has several similar uniforms, it is hard to be...
Sorry I am late to respond to everyone, had to make a trip out of town on short notice. Thanks to everyone for all the information. He is Hollow Cast, the hole was painted over on the top of his helmet, I used a needle and was able to open the hole. Also he is very light which I should have...
Something different, I think this is suppose to be a French Fireman with axe. I found several of them, only marking on the bottom says "copyright", any ideas on who made these figures and what set they went too. As always thank you for the continued help and
Stay Safe and Well,

Thank you very much for the information. I am still finding sets hidden away, so I might find the 16th. There was another Indian set, but I didn't picture it since the lead rot was bad.
Thanks again.
Found this a couple of days ago. Mounted Rose miniature. On the under side of the base it says: Painted by Olley, the number 7 appears twice and Rose Miniatures London England. I have a couple of Rose catalogs, but couldn't find this one listed. Thanks in advance.
