Subject to Louis’ confirmation, I’d say in the mid 1990s. They were groundbreaking in that they were some of the first accurate vehicles made. They were rather expensive. Sagers lists some of these vehicles as costing $384.
From the same period here is a Tiger. According to the brochure (assuming we are talking the same one), this is made of resin and wood. In my opinion, a fine looking model.
Thanks as always. Louis. I thought it was just a resin Stug, only because in his site Bill Sager has the exact same model. I knew that the one in the brochure was probably a little different but that’s the only comparable model I had to show.
This is an early resin (pre-polystone) Stug made by K & C. Unfortunately, it’s missing the cupola and MG but you take ‘em where you can find them.
The Stug first shows up in a brochure in 1996.
I was thinking about buying a figure or two for the first Persian elephant but the only figures I’d pair with it are FL figures; the figures from other companies are a step below.

You had mentioned earlier that some of the Seaforths you owned were different sizes. When K & C first started making figures, they were of the...
Champs and Bums is selling one now. They tend to go for very little. Just not that popular or well know to most collectors.

Here are photos of the pilots. The one in the middle, an African American pilot, is quite unusual.
The second photo shows the back of the one on the right in the first photo.
The last photo shows that same pilot with a P 40 Flying Tiger. The plane is also by K & C.
Actually, I don’t think your Zulu is K & C. I have about 10 of them and they all have oval bases nor do I believe your Zulu is Trophy, which did use square bases but they don’t seem to look the same.
See here for Trophy Zulus, page 2 and beyond...
