    BB070 Winter M-10 : assignment unit error

No worries, my enjoyment is still there and I intend to continue my collection. I know the expression you quote, but IMHO most of the problems I talked about are not a search of (an impossible) perfection, but a certain basis of quality.

    BB070 Winter M-10 : assignment unit error

No obsession at all but simply a hope of having these beautifull FL products with fewer defects and inaccuracies. Being almost the only one to point out the different problems, I know I have the wrong role but I will continue anyway according to necessity. Ultimately, I think collectors would be...

    BB070 Winter M-10 : assignment unit error

Thanks Medic 314/79th, I almost believed that I was the only one on this forum who was attentive to accuracy !.

    BB070 Winter M-10 : assignment unit error

Don't worry, I am completely ease up and I will continue if necessary. All these critiques are only intended to inform brands about certain defects in some of their figurines, hoping they can make improvements ( it seems that brands are reading messages on this forum ). I am absolutely not...

    BB070 Winter M-10 : assignment unit error

Yes there are. I have some tanks from other brands which satisfy me, not "perfect" but with no historical errors. In regard of FL, at the moment I have no tanks of this brand but I don't despair about future releases. I would like to have BB001, BB008 and BB034 but, unfortunately, I missed them.

    BB070 Winter M-10 : assignment unit error

Effectively, during BOB the 704th Tank Destroyer Battalion was only combat equipped with M-18 Hellcat and not at all with a single M-10. On the other hand, here is a list of Tank Destroyer Battalions which were actually equipped with M-10 during BOB : 629th, 634th, 644th, 654th, 773rd, 803rd...

LWG045 T34/85 version could not fight in 1944

Effectively, First Legion depicts a "composite" turret ( Factory/Zavod 112) with two separate roof vents : one at the rear and one toward the front of the turret roof. This improved ventilator arragement was only produced from April 1945 onward ( and post-war). There are very few wartime photos...

    Scale of War Park Figures

As some other brands, size of WARPARK figures are sometimes different from each other. The smallest match well with First Legion and William Britain and the biggest can match with King and Country and Thomas Gunn.

Suggestion for improvement : horses and riders positioned straight and not leaning.

At 200 bucks the rider, I think it is not a bad thing to "overthinking" a little. And if no one ever says anything, how defects can be corrected by the manufacturers in future productions ( I know that brands are going on this forum ). After, yes effectively, everyone is free to settle for...

Which brand all these figures, only King and Country ?.

Suggestion for improvement : horses and riders positioned straight and not leaning.

I have noticed that some horses and/or riders are sometimes positioned noticeably leaning instead to be normally straight on the legs or in the saddle. It is not very realistic and given the price of a rider it is really a shame that there is this defect. And, in regard of the horses, it is not...

Trouble with French 4th cuirassier FPW033

The saber is not pointing upwards as shown in the photo of the First Legion site but downwards. It is a shame because the pose looks a lot like the other cuirassier FPW031. Perhaps a factory error during the assembly of the right arm/hand of the figure but the problem is that it seems that this...

    Comparing Manufacturers

Hi, About figure size comparison, I posted a thread ( Figure size comparison on 5 November 2023 ) which pehaps could be of some interest for you. In summary, King and Country and Thomas Gunn are noticeably oversized compared with other brands such Team Miniatures, War Park, William Britain and...

Suggestion for improvement : straight weapons

I have noticed that some figures have not straight but curved weapons ant notably rifle butts and spears ( lancers for example ). Here are some photos to illustrate this and you can see that it is not very realistic. About french Red Lancers NAP0425 and Polish lancers NAP0698, there is also...

    Arm adjustments trouble

I have noticed that some figures have not precise arm adjustments. The most common are notably the standing firing poses of AZW british 24th Foot. It would be nice if more rigorous quality controls could be done by the brands.

Suggestion for improvement 1 : more precise head adjustments

I have noticed that some figures have not very precise head adjustments and notably many shooting or loading poses. Effectively, the soldiers seem to be looking elsewhere instead of aiming at their target or looking at their rifle ( in case of reloading ). Here are some photos to illustrate this :
