    1/6 scale outdoor set ups

A crowd favorite. A repainted 21C Jeep with a group of 41AD troops with their distictive camo uniforms at the time of Normandy 1944

    1/6 scale outdoor set ups

Thanks! This is my heaviest vehicle. Hardly can "manage it" by myself. I usually roll it in a cart near the spot, then carry it only a very short distance. :smile2: Mostly made out of metal. My other vehicles, even larger models are fiberglass and not even close in weight.

    1/6 scale outdoor set ups

For this one, I went to the beach! This was a commission work which I enjoyed as it was my first DAK vehicle back in 2005. I avoided DAK types as I had no way of photographing them in my yard. Much later, I used the same area shown in the first post with the Nashorn, less the snow, as my spot...

    1/6 scale outdoor set ups

Will be posting some of my outdoor set ups from the last 18 years. Hope you enjoy them... I begin fromone of the most unusual set ups. I decided to convert an area of my yard, of about 14'x12' into a "barren wasteland". Used flour as the snow. The subject is Albert Ernst and his Nashorn crew...

News Update October 30, 2023 - Second World War German Armour - StuG III Ausf. G

Another small observation, the openings on the muzzle brake would be "east and west" not "north and south" as shown in these preliminary images

News Update October 30, 2023 - Second World War German Armour - StuG III Ausf. G

Few announcements have been so impactful for me! I have had for about 15 years a Stug III G 1/6 model, waiting patiently for side skirts, to make it "Normandy friendly". Seeing these image have convinced me that my Stug IIIG should be something similar to this model! I guess it is hard to resit...

News Update October 30, 2023 - Second World War German Armour - StuG III Ausf. G

Looks great, and the tracks drew my attention too. The quality looks great, but a touch too much “sag” for my taste. A great early variation of an emblematic German AFV.

New Releases for May 2023 - American Civil War

These ACW artillery sets are wonderful. The four horse limbers come with a set of tweezers to place the chains that attach the horses to the limber! Talk about thinking about everything! I would love to see more artillery men as somehow I have ended up with more guns than crews. Also an...
