The British assault on the Egyptian entrenchments at Tel-el-Kebir 1882. The large Tel El Kebir diorama I cut in half!! (Must be mad I hear you say!). Then reconfigured both halves with new profiled sides and added extra figures to both (some of which were repainted from grey to red as before)...

I’ve made a new diorama and also modified another which I have also posted on the Diorama section of the forum. The 42nd(Black Watch) Regiment at the Battle of Tamai 1884. This new diorama has just over half of the Black Watch figures repainted. The red coated figures from the TEK range now...

Regarding removing a figure from it's base - I have used side cutters in the past - cutting the base away from the figures feet and then trimming the excess under the soles, I finish off with a file. There might be a peg moulded on the bottom of the Vikings foot which fits into the shield, so a...
