As some of you may know I have a Godson Adam who is really good with models. He recently completed a 1/32 B-17 which I happily added to my collection. The airfield grows but is it compete?
Been a long long time since I've made a dio but on our day off today Bryce and I broke into my box of old dio supplies to see what we could find. After we did that he asked if he could put together his very first dio!
He painted the base, picked out the supplies he wanted to use and arranged...
Make sure your little General plays with only the best!
Bryce loves his new KnC Tank......and I love the price that allows him to play with best! {sm4}
I hope Andy continues with this idea!
My C-47 has arrived safetly thanks to an amazing packing job by K&C. I could not be more pleased with the final project. This is my first custom plane and yes it is pricey but as a pure K&C collector for almost 15 years now it was worth every penny.
Hope to see many of you at the show this week!
So many of you know my 27 year old Godson is a great model builder....he just built me this fpr my German ground crew and pilots to hang out by. We were thinking about building more planes and putting them on display or even for sale at the Chicago Show......would you think that would be a good...
First time I have ever set something up outside......but on a walk with my son this setting hit me as a cool place to do it. So I brought out a LGB Bridge and a King Tiger to see what it would look like!
What do you think? I've seen Kevin pictures from outside and always thought they were...
Thanks all for your kind comments about the new shelves.....some have asked for a closer look at the Market Garden and Bastogne Dio's.....so here you go. The Fall trees in Market Garden are from Hudson & Allen...picked up at OTSN 3 years ago. The buildings are from Hobby Bunker....also bought at...
With the recent flooding we had in the Midwest I eneded up getting about 8 inches of water in the basement......so I took the opportunity to add some additional lighting and shelves for my 100% K&C Collection......I still have more to put up.....should have built more shelves! :rolleyes...
My very good friend Larry planted a seed in my head today with his post on my Ike Staff Car thread.......so I figured I'd give ole George a crack at the staff car market.....this is what came of that seed! BTW the first Patton Staff Car was the very first piece of K&C I ever purchased and is at...
I was inspired by the brochure that came with the new IKE Staff Car and decided to put together my own D-day minus 1 scene with Ike visiting a allied airfield to talk with the airborne troops before they took off for Normandy.
I just recieved my staff car today....what an outstanding piece! I love it......I wish more WWII Allied leaders were done....Marshall? Nimitz? I could go on and on......this is my second IKE figure. The only way this could have been better is if it came with a little black Scottie Dog...Telek...
I wanted to make everyone aware that if you ever visit OTSN that a great side trip if you can make it is an hour west of the show on either Sat or Sun for World War II Days in Rockford IL. It is the largest WWII reenactment with over 1200 reenactors. Below are some photos. If you can pull...
After going to OTSN its always nice to go see the 1:1 stuff too. This year it was announced the this is the largest WWII reenactment in the US. Saturday drew more than 10,000 visitors. It now has over 1200 reenactors at the event.
Seriously....I really like this barn! I need to buy another! :cool: I like to pack dios until they look like they are going to burst! The more the merrier! :rolleyes:
