    Dien Bien Phu

Well, this Vietnam stuff is gaining traction, and seems very popular, but Andy, how about going back a few years earlier to the start of it all and French involvement ? How about a Battle of Dien Bien Phu range ....French para's, with a great mix of British Denison & camo Windproof kit and USMC...

    Repairing chipped/ flaked paint ?

Any tips appreciated gents. If touching up spots of chipped or flaking paint on a metal figure, is it always best to dab on primer first or just paint it onto metal , then varnish it afterwards ? Can varnish be used as the primer ( I read that somewhere )? I will be using brushes and acrylic...

    Flaking paint

Gents, for touching up the odd spot of flaking paint, does anyone have any insight or suggestion as to what brand(s) may be best to use on K & C ? Thanks in advance

    Get stuck in to WW2

When is John Jenkins going to properly get stuck in to World War 2 with some sets of troops in action poses ? There is a lot of fiddling around the edges, albeit with some fine sets - but these are non action and too static , get stuck in I say - nothing to be afraid of- I would love to see...

    HB044 Hermann Goring

I picked up this fine set of figures from eBay. Lovely sculpting and well thought out poses, almost a "Lladro" style to them comes to my mind. Such a shame these figures aren't made any more, I think they were very under rated. Very glad I got these.

    Greek Hoplites...Carthage?

I am a bit of a late comer to ancients, as I am a WW2 collector, although I do enjoy reading the history of the battles, and some of my favourite pieces are the FL Imperial Romans, of which I have a (very) few and bought some years ago, as they look very impressive on the shelf. Upon seeing...

    Dien Bien Phu

...Hell in a very small place... With the interest in the Vietnam range, it would be great to see figures of the French para's made one day. The range of USMC camo clothing mixed with British Denison smocks and camo windproofs would be interesting to see tackled by K & C... and not forgetting...

Buying Duplicate figures ( or sets) ?

Apologies if this is a wacky query, or one lacking in a sense of perspective, but upon seeing a set or an individual figure that you think is exceptional ( in sculpt, paintwork, fits in to your ideal collecting area etc) to what extent do you have an urge to buy it in duplicate ( just in case...

    The new Ramcke

I have just received sets AK120 (mg team) and AK126 ( standing ready) of this new gang, and the sculpting and paintwork is excellent, especially on the figure with p38 in hand and binoculars. They look well alongside my other K&C Afrika Korps sets, and my Honour Bound and Gunn figures too (...

    Sculptor ?

I was wondering, does K & C have one very busy sculptor , or a team of a few that stick rigidly to a "house style" ? I wonder because the style is so distinct ( in proportions, facial expressions, anatomy) and yet the new figures month on month surely cannot be produced by just one person...
