Enough of linear perspectives. Its been a real distraction. Ive gone back to sculpting the front group. Added wires and sculpted in flowers. Added more flower girls.

Ive placed the refurbished Britains figs back into the toy soldier display shelf. So left is the toy soldier style British Empire and right is the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

And also three refurbished hollowcast gurkhas, but the one on the left is actually a solid cast pirated figure.

The whole squadron organised as a three troops led by two officers. Senior officer with white gauntlets...

You tk you know it all and then, along comes another opinion to confound yr ideas. Grrr But I notice that one of the lines are fudged to appear to create a very tight vp. I also do tk that this video amisses the analysis of the line along the right stairs which points to the second vp. 😀

Finally, I got some replacement arms and have started attaching them to my castings. WIP. Just realised that the pix can be inserted as a full size image. You live and learn.....

Hi Louis, Not quite an expert, just being very observant. I then made a photocopy of the actual ptg and did the same perspective analysis. And guess what? The original ptg has no single but at least two VP. Which how ever you spin it, this ptg lacks technical rigour!!!. Whooops.... Never...

Hi Louis Thx for that kind comment. I do ok. Hahahaha So I took a pix and made a photocopy of the setting. Then I drew in str lines to see if they actually meet at a vanish point. Most of them surprisingly did! Hence the proportions seem to work. I’ll correct those that didn

I finished the lower balcony and attached it to the steps. Finally. It was a lot of work.

I made the angles for the balcony more acute. Then started to undercoat and paint the figs. The front girls are being developed quite nicely.

Completing the front batch of figs. Also starting to sculpt two statuettes being carried. These were made from thick wire.

I used the putty to mechanically strengthened the stairs on the underside.

With leftover putty, I built up the pagri and dress cords.

Hi All, I attended a small modeller's meet in a local shop. Quite good turnout about 50 pax. The theme was on sci fi fantasy. These are some of the pix I took. Rgds Victor
