in the 60s or 70s I remember seeing some plastic soldiers that had to be 9" tall. only a couple poses. Am I crazy? I am now collecting all my Marx figures that I had as a boy. they are 54mm. but the ones I am talking about are huge. (smaller than a GI JOE) and molded like a giant Marx.

I remember having WWII soldiers that had separate equipment that you had to attach. helmet, belt, rifles, pistols. What are they? Also what year did marx make WWII soldiers? Is there a book on them?

Yes those look close. The bunkers, bridge, fences,... the soldiers dont seem as I remember them. Is it possible that another company made these before Marx took over? I remember the old "good" soldiers were real thick and the newer sets we had were skinnier.
