I have a Ramón Labayen soldier, still new in it's bag, and I'm hoping for identification

It looks much better originally sealed when sitting in a case at an antique mall. Thanks for the offer of the catalogue, but it's not necessary. Having the hands the way they are, and the copper as a belt, certainly makes it easy to add a little bit of individuality to each piece. Thanks to...

I have a Ramón Labayen soldier, still new in it's bag, and I'm hoping for identification

I haven't been able to find this catalogue. Looking around in here I found www.mirofsoft.com but that site is not working for me [in three different browsers in Windows 11]. Also, what is the copper piece for? It doesn't appear to be on the finished piece.

I have a Ramón Labayen soldier, still new in it's bag, and I'm hoping for identification

Awesome! Gold star for you :D Edit: I just noticed that the figures in the pic have different bases than the one in my bag. My base is probably 8mm tall.

I have a Ramón Labayen soldier, still new in it's bag, and I'm hoping for identification

The soldier is facing inwards so all that is readily visible is the back. He absolutely cannot be flipped around to see the front (I've tried. Repeatedly. And I'm good at that...). The only identification is 32E and I haven't been able to find a reference to that. There's the post from Luis...

I found that, thanks. There's a number of significant differences between the Insert Image From Computer function and the Attachment function though. With Insert Image From Computer I was able to select multiple pictures at once and upload them with a single click and that was it. Finished...

Is this camel a military toy? Who made it?

I just wish it wasn't so beat up. I've seen authentic versions of these sell for over a thousand dollars. Even if this *is* authentic, it'll never get that value unless it's some long lost variety...

Is this camel a military toy? Who made it?

That's awesome! I too found Bergmann, but for a different piece in the same box! That piece is a Moorish boy laying on his stomach, trying to feed a monkey. I haven't been able to find that piece either...

Is this camel a military toy? Who made it?

GESCHŰTZT! Aha! I couldn't get that at all. Looking around online, it seems that it might be Austrian bronze. There's no clear evidence, but it seems heavy and weighs 123g/4.3oz

What's the story with this guy?

This was in that same box as the camel that I posted in a thread that I just started. This guy has the number 43 stamped into his left foot. Anyone know? Thanks!

Is this camel a military toy? Who made it?

We found a very heavy box that we thought was all opium weights. Well it wasn't, and there was quite a bit of other things in it that we didn't know was at the bottom of the box. This camel is four inches long and has quite a large makers mark on the bottom but I cannot decipher it. All I have...

    Uploading Photos

Alright, I'm confused. To put pictures in a post I have always been using the "Insert Image" button. The placement of that button is second row, sixth from the right. I've been using that for ages, and that's the same exact button I use in a number of other forums. I've tried it in Chrome, Edge...

Eight pieces, three different sets. All unknown.

It does, thanks! We're friends with the owner of a local antique mall, that's known for true, quality, antiques. We'll put it in there with a sign that reads "free, if you can accurately tell us who made it" and leave our email address with it. This way, it'll go to someone who can appreciate...

Eight pieces, three different sets. All unknown.

Here's four pics of the piece, two from the top, with and without flash, two of the bottom, with and without flash. There's no markings that I can make out.

Eight pieces, three different sets. All unknown.

Maybe I'll list the five Grey Iron's as fifteen dollars and see what happens. Since you're being so helpful... :) What about the two ships and the Frenchman? Any value to them?

Eight pieces, three different sets. All unknown.

Thanks! Though I've been a member almost three years... Local things, cool! That makes them much more interesting. ebay is suggesting that these Greyklip Armies have almost no value but other sites I'm seeing them sell for fifteen dollars a pair. Is there a price guide? A rule of thumb for...

Eight pieces, three different sets. All unknown.

In my late father-in-laws things we've been finding these little guys over the last few years. One in this box, one in that drawer, and so on. Might anyone know anything about them? Thanks so much!

    Just inherited...

Thanks theBaron. In our family, heirloom is important, so, like I said, at this point they're not for sale regardless of price. Now we have to wonder if they were acquired, made my him, or maybe even his dad for him! GAB

    Just inherited...

Hi. My wife's dad passed and we were going through his things and in an old box of older things was an old burlap bag with twenty three toy soldiers. I'm completely new to all this, but I'm guessing from the look of the machine gunner, that they're from WW1 and British. Any thoughts? FWIW...
