I live in Waco and this has been really hard on this small town. Wife knows several of the affected families through work including two of the missing volunteer firefighters. It's been a rough time around here. Search & Rescue were still still trying to sort through the blast area earlier today...

I've always wondered why you don't find more WWI artillery. IMHO it's as varied and interesting as the WWII armor, I guess it just doesn't sell well. I would probably expand my collection further into this era if more field pieces were available.

While I certainly don't condone the picture in question and agree it shows poor judgement, calls for bringing charges against these soldiers seem a bit extreme. My guess is that any NCO's identified as well as any officer involved will pay a fairly steep price in terms of their future...
