    PEGASUS BRIDGE

This is an ambitious project. I thought my Autumn creek dio had a lot of water. I'm looking forward to seeing it develop.

    Stalingrad 1942-43

Putting together a column of vehicles takes a LOT of space, particularly if you want to space them realistically. None of my dio boards are big enough to put together a significant column beyond 3 vehicles. I suppose you could do what movies do, and digitally extend a scene, although that would...

All good points, but still fun. Dead animals would definitely be useful.

    Kursk 1943

Thanks all. It's nice to give David Marshall's Russian farm house a groundwork refresh. Originally David had created 5 additional 24" tiles which were nothing more than flat with a bit of static grass and a simple road. Not having to worry about shipping, weight, etc. allowed us to take the...

    Kursk 1943

Thanks guys. This one took a while, despite its simplicity, but I think it came out decent. It will be interesting to see it with different backgrounds and I need to throw a Stalingrad column onto the road. First Legion's recent vehicle releases have been excellent. Keep using whoever you have...

Thank you all for the kind comments. This year's project took a tad longer but I'm happy with the result. I suspect this will be useful for some Kursk scenes I have in mind. Stay tuned.

We built ceiling racks and the remaining boards that are flat enough stand vertically against the wall.

The vapors from the resin stripped the paint off our culvert pipes so some touchup is in order. We also had a few stray bubbles that didn't make it out of the resin.

Time to pour the ditch. We start by masking to try to keep static grass from falling into the resin. Mix resin and hardener and some green paint to give the water an algae color Pour Break the surface tension of the resin Bubbles slowly come out of the resin

    KUR010 Ferdinand #501

I'm not a fan of the trend for manufacturers to release models with full black muzzle brakes. I suspect that in most cases manufacturers are trying to simulate carbon buildup due to muzzle blast. I'm not saying some didn't come from the factory with a black muzzle brake as Hunter Rose alluded...
