The 'Duel in the Mist' trilogy was supposed to be 4 volumes. The 4th volme was about finished and ready to print when there was apparently a huge falling out among the different authors, (about what, I have no idea), so the plans got scrapped and volume 4 was never done. A real tragedy for this...
