Hi Guys,

As the original D.Day 75th Anniversary approaches we think it’s only fitting that our own ‘D.DAY’ should coincide with the real one… so, look for the morning of June 6, 2019.

In the meantime here’s a look at K&C’s latest ‘hot-off-the-press’ 12 page, full-colour brochure highlighting all our extensive existing and upcoming D.DAY figures and fighting vehicles.

Very best wishes and… happy collecting!
Andy

Nice one Andy!😁I thought that was either a radio team or flame thrower!😎

Only thing is your brochure has the limited edition Texas officer figure listed as US Ranger. Those figures were great!

Scott

Are some of the figures 'repaints' of previously released figures, a couple look 'familiar'.

19 new Rangers!😎

A range if different poses very cool plus an officer!

I like the medic advancing Andy very nice!

I don't think they are mate. The BAR crouching figure looks similar to a crouching Big Red 1 figure with rifle however his head is tilted differently. Even the lying with rifle figure and kneeling firing figures are different!

I was looking at the figure on the ramp and the figure at the bottom of the ramp [nearest LC]the figure with the Thompson and the 2 directly behind. Plus the two firing figures just off the ramp of the other LC, the wounded figure at the bottom of the second ramp also looks familiar!

Three of the wounded/dead figures are DD317, think the figure laying down is the same figure from DD317. The on falling on the ramp looks interesting.

Will buy them as I think they look excellent, even have some of the other K & C 'repaints, not being critical so let not go down that dead end.

Hey bud that is the same set but they aren't painted up as Rnagers. I think Andy just out them in the picture to show how well they go with them!😊

Regarding two Thompson figures these are definetly new poses. The Captain with Thompson is actually in a bit if a strange pose! And the 2nd figure from the advancing under fire set looks a bit casual for a battle, more a patrol figure!

Awesome!

I'm loving this brochure. I've had my hopes set on a Higgins Landing Craft for a long time; can't wait to get one of these bad boys. Equally impressive is the new action posed collection of Rangers. Top notch!

Must say that the brochure itself is a nice keepsake on this 75th. The letter from Eisenhower and the real-life images add to a beautiful catalogue. I also like how the entire range of older US D-Day items are featured. Makes me want to get a few of these wonderful pieces that I never had a chance to purchase.

Thanks for the early viewing, Andy. Well done!

{bravo}}

EDIT: I'm also looking forward to all the fantastic scenes/dioramas that many of you will create with these awesome new pieces!

I think those Higgins boats in the brochure are DD137 & DD138 released years ago.

I hope I'm wrong and new release are coming.

I like the new Rangers but I do miss the rubber gas mask bags. but I understand. Carlos de Higgin's boats in the brochure is a new one. with number DD329

I'm in the same boat bud. No gas mask bags but one of the officers has an assault vest which is strange.

I suppose the lack of gas mask bags means that they can be used elsewhere other than the Normandy beaches but still would have liked the Gas mask bags on as Andy is the only manufacturer to have created these and it was a thing that was solely unique to K&C!

It's a shame as I'm part of one of the biggest reenactment groups in Britain and we reenact US Rangers during ww2 and I myself am an avid Ranger historian. If Andy had contacted me I'd have gladly given some pictures of poses or equipment or information to help get these figures as accurate as possible.

yes I understand that Andy did not give the Rangers a gas mask bag. now you can use them for every battle. there are beautiful figures.

Maybe i can make a gas mask bag for the figures . It is not that difficult but only the stamp on the rubber bag itself is difficult!
Is there is a factory that makes the dry transfers in scale 1/35

Hi Guy,
I pondered the issue of having the guys wear the flotation belts and gas mask bags for a while ... but in the end decided to 'ditch' them so that these soldiers could also be used in a multitude of different scenes on dry land.

Also, it's interesting to note that there are many reports in D.Day books that the real troops themselves 'ditched' both items as quickly as they could after landing and the beaches were littered with them.

Maybe K&C might do little piles of them...What do you reckon..?
Best wishes and happy collecting,
Andy.

Good idea Andy might as well do some other beach debris as well
