Hi Guys,

Thankyou for the kind comments on our many K&C medics and ambulances...Re “Western Outlaw’s” comment/suggestion of “opening doors” for our “Desert Katy”...Nice idea my friend BUT...Opening doors require a lot of interior detailing which in turn jumps the price up alarmingly – both to manufacture and to sell. Opening doors would also add to the fragility and “breakability” of the model...

For all of the above I believe most collectors would opt for what we actually did...But thanks again for your interest.

Best wishes and happy collecting!

Andy C.

P.S. “Ice Cold In Alex” has always been one of my favorite British War Films of the 1950’s...I remember seeing it as a wee boy back in Scotland in the late ‘50’s.

P.P.S. Thanks “WO” for the Demag pic also.

Andy love the medic range and wonder what the chance of seeing some Normandy version of the amburlance ?

"Ice cold in Alex" : great movie : same thing happened to me Andy, I saw it together with my father in the late 50's in our local cinema . Still love it and have it on VHS and DVD. John Mills is a great filmstar; ( Dunkirk was the next film I saw featuring my favourite movie star)

Thanks for the additional info about the ambulance Andy. Now I understand about the rear doors.
Also appreciate you noticing my demag shot. It's a nice piece!
