Hullo There,

At the end of last week I posted the first two displays showing “Redcoats” and “Napoleonic’s” taking over our “Fortified Manor House”…Well, here’s one more – In the mid-20th Century there are some new occupants…Enjoy!

Gordon C.

P.S. In answer to Brad (Jazzeum), YES, the full “Manor House” and landscape base will be in Chicago…Along with quite a few others. Alas though, the “DIO” book is still being worked on…

Thanks for the reply Gordon. Too bad about the book but look forward to seeing this in person -- something this good has to be seen -- and renewing acquaintances.

Cheers,

Brad

A few wall stickers and bingo another era. Was hoping to see the missing balance of the Home Guard in the diorama as there is no chance of ever getting the building despite it being located at Walmington-on-Sea.:wink2:, Robin.

Awesome and now for a dio with those Jerries hey Gordon! {sm3}{sm4}

Excellent! My fave set up with this building so far, tremendous scene. Thank you Gordon, look forward to the book as and when:salute::

Wallmington-on-Sea has certainly got some fascinating local architecture!

Is the General, standing next to the utility, with the binos (?) and walking stick talking to FM Gort, a new figure? He looks more like WWI than WWII -is it by chance FM Haig?

Superb setting.

He is Sir John French from the series FW, this figure produced a few years ago. Robin.

Viewing the "Fortified Manor House" several times over makes one really appreciate the amount of Detail done. The weathering that was done from top to bottom is like a 3D
painting, making the Manor a work of art ! The Gold topped dome on top sets it off perfectly ! Looking forward to seeing this Dio in person next month !
